The ADRJ was founded more than a decade ago at the University of Alaska by Brian Jarrett, Ph.D. Known formerly as the Alaska Journal of Dispute Resolution, this publication later came to be affiliated with the NCRP program at California State-Dominguez Hills. Along with a new home in California came a new, more inclusive name and more expansive focus.
Under a new moniker, the Applied Dispute Resolution Journal is shared with and utilized by dispute resolution, restorative practices centers, and university libraries around the globe. Published both online and in print, the ADRJ can be found in a host of prominent institutions including the Harvard Program on Negotiation, the Stanford Law School Program on Dispute Resolution, and a host of other centers and university libraries.
